Job Description:

The Clinical Review Specialist is an integral member of the care planning team and works closely with clinical and coordination staff to support the management and delivery of quality home infusion therapy services. Helms Home Care is seeking a part-time Clinical Review Specialist to work from our central office located in Denver, NC. Helms Home Care provides infusion therapy nursing services to patients across NC, SC, VA, IN, and KY.Duties:* Review Plan of Treatments (POT's) at pre-determined intervals to ensure patient care is in alignment with the physicians orders and the care being provided.* Communicate any inconsistencies and/or discrepancies between the plan of treatment, physicians orders, and the care provided with the appropriate staff members in order to facilitate reconciliation ensuring accuracy in care.* Possesses and maintains the clinical skills & knowledge necessary to oversee the duties performed by Infusion Therapy RNs.* Documents clinical concerns and disciplinary actions in employee files.* Provides guidance to nursing staff during clinical inquires or concerns, generally or specifically in reference to a patient care situation.* Provides direction/guidance and assistance to Care Coordination staff when reporting client care to pharmacies, MDs and third parties.* Ensures patient confidentiality is maintained throughout care and communication* Communicates with pharmacies, MDs and third parties as necessary to ensure accuracy and quality in patient care.* Participates in the investigation and resolution of grievances in accordance with Agency policy.* Collaborates with Compliance & Documentation departments to investigate and resolve discrepancies in clinical nursing notesQualifications:* Licensed and active Registered Nurse* Professional verbal & written communication* Ability to multi-task* Ability to operate multiple software programs simultaneously* Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)Job Type: Part-timePay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k) matchingPeople with a criminal record are encouraged to applyExperience:* Infusion Nursing: 5 years (Preferred)License/Certification:* RN (Required)Work Location: In personby Jobble
