Job Description:
Job Description Job Description NOVA Engineering is seeking a
Senior Construction Inspector in our Charleston, SC office. We are
looking for a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude
and a strong work ethic. Positions offer the opportunity for growth
and advancement for the successful candidate. Responsibilities:
Perform field services for soils, foundations, pavement sections,
reinforced concrete, structural masonry, wood framing, structural
steel and other special inspections, as applicable. Coordinate with
contractors, and NOVA staff regarding execution of required
services and result of testing and/or inspections, as applicable.
Prepare detailed and complete daily field reports Requirements:
SCDOT Asphalt Roadway Tech and HMA Level I are required Minimum of
2 years of experience in construction inspection with a focus on
roadway field inspection and HMA quality assurance lab testing
SCDOT Earthwork, Foundations and Concrete highly desired Highly
desired with a minimum of 3 years of experience in roadway and
bridge construction Strong knowledge of SCDOT construction
