Job Description Job Description Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1 years
Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. This full-time opportunity is for a Teacher of the Deaf
and Hard of Hearing serving students in grades K-12 within a
Tennessee school district. The position begins in January 2026 and
extends through May 22, 2026, designed as a contract role for the
current school year. The role is on-site in the Franklin area,
supporting multiple schools with caseload assignments to be
determined. Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction
and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing across K-12
grade levels Collaborate with school staff, families, and related
service providers to implement Individualized Education Programs
(IEPs) Monitor student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet
individual learning needs Utilize specialized strategies and
communication methods to enhance student outcomes Maintain accurate
records and documentation aligned with district and state
requirements Qualifications: Valid Tennessee teaching license with
an endorsement in Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Experience working
with deaf or hard of hearing students preferred Strong
communication and interpersonal skills essential for working with
students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to manage
caseloads and adapt instruction for diverse learners Location:
On-site in the Franklin area, Tennessee This position offers the
