Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. This opportunity is for a full-time Special Education
Teacher position at a middle school located in Chester, PA. The
role requires a commitment for a full semester contract, with 2
openings available. The position involves working onsite for 37.5
hours per week, starting ASAP and continuing through June 12, 2026.
Responsibilities: Demonstrate mastery of subject matter,
instructional skills, and resource materials for assigned courses.
Develop lesson plans aligned with current state and district
standards, utilizing formative assessments and differentiated
instruction to meet student needs. Manage classroom behavior
effectively with strong behavioral management techniques. Work
collaboratively within the school and district environment,
adapting to the specifics of an urban educational setting.
Qualifications: Active Pennsylvania Special Education
certification/licensure is mandatory. Bachelors degree required to
obtain an emergency teaching permit if applicable. Proven
experience in school settings, preferably in urban areas. Ability
to complete all required Pennsylvania clearances prior to
employment. Strong classroom and behavior management skills
essential. Comfort and familiarity with district policies and the
specific location. Location: Chester, PA Schedule: Full-time, 37.5
hours per week, onsite Contract Length: Full semester, ending June
