Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time,
contract position is available for a Licensed Speech-Language
Pathologist (SLP) specializing in school-based services. This role
supports students in a school setting located near Charlotte, NC,
focusing on delivering high-quality speech and language therapy
aligned with state educational standards. Key Responsibilities: -
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for
school-aged children. - Develop, implement, and monitor
individualized education plans (IEPs) targeting communication
goals. - Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and
multidisciplinary teams to support student progress. - Utilize
electronic systems such as ECATS for efficient documentation and
reporting. - Maintain compliance with North Carolina state
licensure requirements and school district policies. Qualifications
and Experience: - Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathology
license (mandatory). - Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
preferred. - Proven experience working as an SLP in school settings
with at least 1 year preferred. - Familiarity with ECATS or similar
electronic student record systems. - Strong communication skills
and ability to engage familiars/students effectively. Location and
Schedule: - Position is based in Concord, NC, within a school
district near Charlotte. - Full-time contract through May 28, 2026.
