Technician (Automation Industry) Location: Greer, SC *Role will
include up to 50% Travel to Eastern U.S. We are seeking a skilled
and motivated Controls Service Technician to join our team in the
automation industry. This role involves providing technical
support, performing system installations, troubleshooting
equipment, and ensuring the highest standards of customer service.
The ideal candidate will have experience in automation systems,
strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work
independently or as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Install,
maintain, and repair automation equipment and systems. Provide
onsite and remote troubleshooting and diagnostics for customers.
Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability and
performance. Support commissioning activities, including system
setup, testing, and validation. Maintain accurate service records,
reports, and documentation. Collaborate with engineering and
project teams to ensure customer satisfaction. Provide training and
guidance to customers on proper system usage. Qualifications
Technical degree or certification in automation, mechatronics,
electrical, or related field preferred. Hands-on experience with
automation equipment, robotics, or industrial machinery. Strong
troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Ability to read and
interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals. Proficiency
in using service tools, testing equipment, and software. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to travel as
required to support customer sites. Desired Skills Knowledge of
PLCs, sensors, drives, and automation control systems. Experience
with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Familiarity
