Job Description:
RN- PACU
Responsibilities:
Ensure patient safety and comfort to patients recovering from
anesthesia
Monitor the patient's level of consciousness and vital signs
Provide reassurance and education to patients and family
members
Assess patients, deliver care to ventilator dependent patients, and
monitor dressings
One or more year(s) of current experience within the Peri
anesthesia Care Unit.
Educated on and follows HIPAA regulations; maintains strict
confidentiality of client information.
Follows Infection Control, Standard Precautions and OSHA standards
for the healthcare professional
Education:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
License/Certification:
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse with active license(s)
in the state(s) in which employed and practices.
Current BLS/BCLS and ACLS certifications.
Certification: Basic Life Support , Advanced Cardiovascular Life
