The Correctional Nurse RN position provides an opportunity for flexible part-time work, with responsibilities including patient care, medication administration, and collaboration with healthcare teams at Iredell County Detention Center. Nurses in this role will utilize critical thinking and perform emergency interventions within the correctional facility. Schedule: -2- - 12 hr Night shifts per week, 5:45a - 6:15a

Duties include, but are not limited to: -

• 
  
• Deliver patient care, evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients, chart results, establish nursing plans and work under the boundaries of State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, and Physician/Provider(s) -
  
• Administer prescribed medications in accordance with nursing standards & correctional regulations
  
• Follow through with established treatment plans
  
• Perform emergency intervention, physical assessment and critical thinking
