Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Allied Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12hr Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (R)(CT) required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Must have GE CT experience. Ability to work in a fast-paced imaging department. Experience completing routine and STAT CT exams for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency patients. Ability to coordinate and prioritize exams in order of level of acuity, including Code Strokes. Knowledge of post-processing exams as required. Description: Facility offers X-Ray, CT, Ultrasound, and MRI imaging services. The department performs an average of 30 studies on weekdays and 14 studies on weekends. Outpatients are scheduled on weekends. Department will serve emergency department, inpatient, observation, and outpatient patients. Support within the department includes the use of EMR, RIS, and PACS systems. Department-specific equipment includes GE Revolution Apex and Bayer MedRad dual-head contrast injector. Scrub color is black. Free parking is available.
