This facility is recognized among the top hospitals in the nation for clinical quality. The Labor and Delivery unit has 16 beds and an extensive staff of 120. The unit operates with a patient ratio of 1:1 or 1:2, ensuring high-quality care. The role requires proficiency with Baxter pumps and Phillips electronic fetal monitoring equipment. Experience with electronic medical records, specifically Cerner and FetaLink, is required. Candidates must be adaptable and friendly, with a focus on patient-centered care. Typical procedures performed in this unit include vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and C-hyst. This position may require weekend and on-call availability upon approval.
