Job Description HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Boone, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 08/04/2025 - Duration: 22 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: RN – ICU Location: Boone, NC 28607 Shift: Day 4x12-Hour (06:45 - 19:15) OR 3x12 Days (6:45am-7:15pm) Requirements & Qualifications: Key Responsibilities: - Deliver safe and effective nursing care to patients in ICU and IMCU settings - Float to MedSurg and IMCU as needed based on census and staffing requirements - Respond promptly to changes in patients’ conditions with appropriate interventions - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care - Care for pediatric patients when necessary (infrequent but must be comfortable doing so) - Ensure accurate documentation in EPIC EMR system. Requirements: - License: Active NC or Compact Multistate RN License - Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS (all required) - Experience: - Proficient with EPIC EMR (recent experience required) - Strong clinical skills in ventilator management and critical care - Pediatric experience preferred (must be comfortable caring for pediatric patients, though not common). Additional Information: - No blocked scheduling requests will be accommodated - Must be very flexible with floating across units - Scrubs: All white or all navy required - Weekend requirement: Every 3rd weekend rotation.
