Minimum 18 months of Labor & Delivery/Postpartum experience
License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, EFM, NRP Must-Have:
Experience with all aspects of Labor & Delivery/Postpartum patient
care. Circulating experience in cesarean sections. Experience with
newborn care, including heel sticks, 24-hour testing, NAS scoring,
and lactation support. Postpartum care experience. Newborn
resuscitation (NRP) certification. Ability to work LDRP Support
within the department. Description: The position requires RN
candidates with expertise in Labor & Delivery/Postpartum care. The
facility has 33 beds and includes triage rooms, Labor Delivery
Recovery rooms, and Mother-Baby rooms. The ideal candidate must be
skilled in all aspects of patient care in Labor &
Delivery/Postpartum settings. Candidates should be able to perform
circulatory duties during C-sections and provide care for newborns,
including lactation support. Postpartum care and newborn
resuscitation are critical components of this role. The position
requires flexibility to float to other facilities within the region
as needed based on patient care requirements. Travelers will be
expected to work on holidays and will have a standardized weekend
rotation every other week. Up to six days off may be approved,
excluding holidays. The schedule cycle will occur every six weeks.
Candidates should adhere to the designated scrub color while in the
facility.
