Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - PCU Stepdown Job Details: • 13-16 week assignment duration • Work as PCU Stepdown Registered Nurse providing direct clinical care • Assess, plan, and implement patient care on per shift basis • Supervise staff and delegate appropriate care • Required to wear navy scrubs • Use Cerner charting system • Work in unit with 8 CVICU beds, 8 SICU beds, and 16 MICU beds • Ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care • Support facility CNO with competency oversight of clinical staff • Manage appropriate resources related to patient care • Provide unit-level nursing responsibilities Facility: This medical center operates a comprehensive critical care environment with specialized units including cardiovascular intensive care, surgical intensive care, and medical intensive care.
