Registered Nurse (RN) | Psych Location: Hickory, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,534 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/18/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: Nursing License Certifications: AHA BLS, CPI or HWC Must-Have Skills/Experience: Acute inpatient Behavioral Health experience Description: Candidates must have either CPI or HWC to be considered. Unit consists of an 81-bed adult Behavioral Health facility. The unit provides acute crisis stabilization for psychiatric disorders, including detox for substance withdrawal. Patient ratios may vary from 1:10 to 2:23. Equipment includes an Omnicell and the EHR system is Cerner. Supervisors oversee a diverse adult patient population. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Flexibility to float within units of the Behavioral Health department is required. Strong communication skills are essential for this role. Dress code consists of scrubs in any color; unacceptable attire includes denim or camo.
