Nurse, Medical-Surgical Oncology – North Carolina Start Date:
September 23, 2025 Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule:
12-hour shifts; 6 weekend days required per schedule period;
floating occasionally to other medical-surgical units Highlights:
24-bed Oncology and Women's Surgical unit in a nationally
recognized facility Patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5 with strong team
support including CNCs, CNAs, and unit coordinators Procedures
include chemotherapy administration, pelvic exams, echocardiograms,
and thoracentesis Electronic Medical Record: Cerner
Magnet-designated hospital recognized among the top 1% nationally
for clinical quality Part of the region's referral center with
Level II trauma, comprehensive stroke, NICU, and children's
hospital services Requirements: Active RN license in North Carolina
(or multistate compact license) Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification Chemotherapy certification preferred Medical-surgical
