This healthcare job offers the perfect blend of professional growth and southern hospitality, with access to top medical facilities, parks, dining, and entertainment./n /n/nMed/Surg RN Job Details/n /n - Job Title: Med/Surg Registered Nurse (Travel Nursing)/n - Location: Charlotte, NC (28203) – North Carolina nursing jobs/n - Estimated Weekly Salary: $1570-$1680/n - Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department Holds (Med/Surg/Telemetry)/n - Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00pm – 7:00am)/n - Hours: 36 hours per week guaranteed/n - Contract Length: 13-week travel nursing contract (Start: 10/20/2025 – End: 1/17/2026)/n - Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend/n - Holiday Coverage: 75% of holidays during contract/n - Scrub Color: Navy/n - Parking: Free on-site parking/n /n/nRegistered Nurse Qualifications/n /n - Active RN license (North Carolina or compact state) – Registered Nurse jobs/n - Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing experience/n - BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required/n - Stroke care experience and cardiac rhythm interpretation skills/n - Proficient in Med/Surg/Tele procedures: trach care, PIV starts, chest tube management, NGT placement, drain/tube management (Dobhoff, PEG tubes, Hemovac, JP drains, flexiseals, foley insertion/management), PCA pumps/n - Medication gtt management (cardiac drips, heparin, blood products, IVF)/n - Ability to float to other healthcare facilities within the Charlotte region/n - EPIC EMR experience preferred/n /n/nMed/Surg RN Responsibilities/n /n - Deliver high-quality patient care in Emergency Department Holds (Med/Surg/Tele)/n - Manage diverse patient populations: trauma, cardiac, respiratory, GI, mental health, and more/n - Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond to changes appropriately/n - Perform and manage nursing procedures: trach care, chest tubes, drains, NGT, etc./n - Administer medications, IV infusions, blood products, and cardiac drips/n - Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams (CNAs, charge nurses, phlebotomy, RTs, hospitalists, intensivists)/n - Float to other nursing units or facilities in the Charlotte, NC area as needed/n - Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR/n /n/n /n Experience the excitement of travel nursing jobs in Charlotte, North Carolina.
