Radiology Tech Location: Charlotte, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,117 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Radiology Tech Profession: Allied Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8hr Day Shift Hours per Shift: 40 (0800 - 1700) Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: ARRT Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Experience with C-arm - Experience with spine and head imaging Description: Large clinic with several rooms, including an x-ray room and an injection room. Average patient load is about 60 imaging patients per day, with approximately 30 of these being injections. Outpatient imaging and injections are the primary focus, with no sedation required. Patient demographics include both adults and pediatric patients. Experience with specific patient types is necessary, including working with scoliosis series and shunt series, although training can be provided if needed. Candidates need to be open to performing various office and administrative tasks, such as making CDs. The environment is fast-paced, and support is provided within the department. Typically, there are three techs for imaging, front desk staff are present, and one provider works in the injection suite. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, with no weekend rotation and no on-call duty. Candidates should be comfortable working with EMR systems and PACS technology.
