Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Orthopedic Location: Asheville, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,023 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Orthopedic Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active Nursing License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Candidates must have an active nursing license. Candidates must have BLS certification. Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Orthopedic Surgery. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic nursing team. We operate a unit with 32 individual beds. The unit is staffed with skilled professionals dedicated to patient care. The nursing team includes charge RNs, RNs, LPNs, PCTs, and HUCs. Patient-to-nurse ratios are optimized for quality care. The night shift typically operates with a 6:1 patient ratio. Candidates will utilize various medical equipment. Types of equipment include walkers, bedside commodes, vital sign machines, and more. Candidates will perform essential nursing procedures. Procedures include dressing changes, Foley catheter care, and wound vac maintenance. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong teamwork and adaptability.
