Registered Nurse (RN) | Pediatrics Location: Charlotte, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,723 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatrics Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 Years Required License: NC or Compact License Required Certifications: BCLS and PALS Required Must-Have: Chemotherapy Administration Experience Description: RTO after booking is not allowed. Any call-offs or additional RTO could possibly lead to a cancellation. Minimum of 2 years of experience is required. Traveler experience is acceptable for first-time travelers if they possess 2 years of experience. Locals are accepted. Skills required include administering chemotherapy and IV start and lab draw. Pediatrics patient care experience, including medical-surgical and hematology/oncology, is preferred. Target patient ratios are 1:5-6. Must be available for self-scheduling. Candidate may be required to float to other departments. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. Daily census consists of ages 0-17 with a focus on medical-surgical and hematology/oncology patients. Potential floating may occur based on skill set and census needs. Completion of modules may be required prior to start. Candidate must be comfortable with floating to other units. Two manager or supervisor references from within the past 12 months are highly preferred. Candidate must adhere to fatigue policy; working more than five consecutive days or exceeding 60 hours in a week is not allowed. Travel pairs are allowed, but candidates must work on different units.
