Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing
in Pediatric Oncology. The role requires the administration of
chemotherapy and care for pediatric patients aged 0-17. Nurses will
work on a self-scheduling basis with a target patient ratio of
1:5-6. There will be no call requirement, but floating to other
units for staffing purposes may be necessary. Every other weekend
staffing is required. Candidates should be experienced in IV
starts, lab draws, and the management of ports. Monitoring patients
undergoing chemotherapy and implementing isolation precautions are
key responsibilities. All staff will collaborate with an
interdisciplinary team to support the care of patients. Candidates
must be comfortable with floating to different units based on
patient census. There are specific requirements for attendance
during the first week of the assignment for training and
orientation purposes. References from previous employers are
preferred, and candidates must have the required certifications
