Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Winston Salem, NC Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $1,840 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse – North Carolina Start Date: March 2, 2026 Location: Winston-Salem, North Carolina Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 or 48 hours per week available, every other weekend required Highlights: ICU step-down unit with 20 beds serving adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations Patient ratios of 3:1 or 4:1 with strong critical care drip experience essential Manage vasoactive drips including Levophed, Cardizem, Nitro, Precedex, and Dopamine with titration responsibilities 13-week contract with bedside telemetry monitoring and Epic charting system Collaborative environment with full interdisciplinary support including IV teams, rapid response, respiratory services, and pharmacy Floating to sister ICCU unit as needed based on census Requirements: Minimum 2 years of progressive care, step-down, or telemetry experience required Active North Carolina or Compact State RN license Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required Must pass EKG testing prior to start date Strong experience with arterial line management, vasoactive drip titration, dysrhythmia interpretation and management Proficiency with chest tubes, BiPAP/CPAP, tracheostomy care, central line management, and blood product administration IV start skills and conscious sedation experience required Epic charting experience strongly preferred First-time travelers accepted; candidates must be comfortable with floating requirements Why It's a Great Opportunity: This high-acuity step-down unit offers an excellent opportunity for experienced nurses seeking to advance their critical care skills in a fast-paced environment.
