Description: Assists anesthesia providers with patient assessment,
monitoring, transporting, positioning, insertion of intravenous and
other invasive lines, and airway management. Maintains and
troubleshoots anesthesia equipment malfunctions. Ensures necessary
equipment and supply inventory remain in stock. Provides routine
and emergency services for anesthesiologists. Assists with schedule
preparations, including emergent and urgent surgical procedures
involving anesthesia. Assists anesthesia professional staff with
preparation and draping of patients for invasive
monitoring/procedures and anticipates needs for invasive monitor
insertion and procedures. Sets up operating room for cases,
including preparation of laryngoscope, intubation equipment, IV
solution, tubing set-up, and IV warming devices. Provides
peri-operative technical support to the anesthesia professional
staff for delivery of patient care. Assists with the procurement,
assembly, and operation of specialized equipment such as
humidification units, fiber optic endoscopic equipment, rapid
infusion devices/blood warmers, patient warming devices,
neuromuscular devices, infusion pumps, and syringes. Maintains and
organizes the anesthesia environment, equipment, supplies, and
personnel to facilitate department functions and ensure efficient
flow of cases. Cleans and sets up anesthesia equipment. Other
duties as assigned. The expertise and experiences you’ll need to
succeed: QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: High School Grad or Equiv,
Technical/Vocational SchoolBasic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) -
Accredited Issuing Body, Certified Anesthesia Technologist (Cer.
A.T.T.) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Certified Anesthesia
Technologist (Cer. A.T.T.) - EV Accredited Issuing Body Pay Range:
