EPIC experience - Previous Charge Experience Description: The
position requires a registered nurse specializing in cardiac
telemetry. The nurse will be responsible for caring for inpatient
adults with life-threatening multisystem or cardiac conditions.
Common diagnoses include sepsis, myocardial infarction, unstable
angina, and coronary artery disease. The patient population may
include those receiving IV antiarrhythmic therapy, vasoactive
infusions, and anticoagulation. The role requires the
administration of vasoactive drugs, antiarrhythmic therapy,
thrombolytic therapy, defibrillation, and cardiac telemetry
monitoring. EKG interpretation and non-invasive blood pressure
monitoring are also essential skills. Floating to other units and
weekend coverage is required. Staff will float only to units they
are qualified for and have documented competencies. Candidates must
have experience managing dysrhythmias. The daily patient ratio is
1:5 during day shifts. Interdisciplinary support includes various
services such as physical therapy, respiratory services, and
pharmacy. The role is essential for providing high-quality care to
