Common diagnoses include respiratory failure, sepsis, heart failure, DKA/HHS, alcohol withdrawal, and overdose.Summary of Required Skills: Proficient in IV therapy/phlebotomy, arterial and central line management, care of ventilated patients, external CPAP/BiPAP, isolation precautions, cardiac monitoring and emergency response (including dysrhythmia management), and titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips.Floating: While Prisma Health prioritizes keeping staff in their home unit, agency staff are required to float to other units or campuses as needed.
