TeamHealth is seeking a dedicated emergency medicine (EM) physician
to join our team at Mission Hospital McDowell, a modern 30-bed
facility in the scenic town of Marion, North Carolina. Just a short
drive from Asheville, this opportunity offers the ideal mix of
professional fulfillment and mountain lifestyle. Position Overview
- Annual Volume: 23,000 ED visits - Coverage: 24 hours/day, 8-hour
physician shifts - Support: Daily APC coverage - Facility: 30-bed
hospital with modern emergency department - Technology: Cerner EMR
- Leadership: New, engaged EM physician leadership team - Optional
Rotation: Opportunity to rotate through other Mission Health
hospitals in Western North Carolina Who We're Looking For -
Board-certified/eligible in emergency medicine (ABEM or AOBEM) -
Strong clinical and decision-making skills - Great communicator who
thrives in a collegial team environment - Comfortable in a
