Start Date: February 23, 2026 Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule:
12-hour shifts, every other weekend, holiday support required
Highlights: 10-bed ICU/PCU overflow unit with 2:1 ICU and 4-5:1 PCU
patient ratios Work with advanced critical care technology
including ventilators, Targeted Temperature Management (TTM), and
hemodynamic monitoring systems Charge nurse out of staffing model;
work alongside experienced nursing team Cerner documentation system
in place Opportunity to assist with bedside procedures including
chest tube insertion and intubations Floating to other units may be
required based on hospital needs Requirements: Active North
Carolina RN license (or compact state license) Medical ICU
experience in a large facility setting required Proficiency in
hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management Advanced critical
care skills: ventilator management, critical care pharmacology (IV
sedation, paralytics, vasopressors), central line management BLS
and ACLS certifications required Strong critical thinking skills,
flexibility, and ability to work collaboratively Why It's a Great
