LOCATION: Asheville NC SHIFT: Days JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent
Job Summary: Looking for a passionate Director of Nursing - CVOR to
direct area operations, programs, and activities consistent with
company objectives and in alignment with the strategic plan. The
Director of Nursing promotes research and integrates evidence-based
practice into clinical, operational and leadership processes.
Clinical, human resource and financial data is integrated to
support decision making. Responsible for the nursing practice
model. Responsibilities: You will promote a multi-disciplinary
coordination of services, such as, nursing, medical, respiratory
care, laboratory, pharmaceutical and public relations. You will
develop, monitor, appraise and analyze budgetary goals and outcomes
within the CVOR. You will develop a plan for capital resources
required to maintain quality care. You will administer and appraise
Quality Improvement within the services provided. You will control
processes related to Human Resources; inclusive of hiring,
evaluating, terminating, counseling, coaching and development of
the staff. Develops, supervises, and administers adult, geriatric
and adolescent services as necessary. Job Benefits: Competitive

advancement Requirements: Current RN license within the State of
practice. BLS, ACLS certification required. Master's Degree in
Nursing required. National Nursing Leadership Certification is
required within first year. Three (3) years of progressive
leadership required. Computer skills including word processing,
spreadsheets, Internet and Intranet software, e-mail. Prefer
candidates that have direct CVICU and/or CVOR experience.
