Job Description HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Brevard, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Duration: 3 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract About the unit(s): · Number of Beds -30 · Type of equipment - IV pumps, SCDs, Nova Stat glucometer, wound vac, Baxter feeding pump, Lift equipment as appropriate, Pyxis (nurses only) · EMR -Cerner Must have · All RNs must have BLS, ACLS completed prior to end of orientation · PCT/NAs are required to have BLS Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. · RNs with ICU/Stepdown experience · Staff with 1 year med/surg experience is preferred List typical procedures performed on unit(s): · IV starts , CVL, Arterial lines · Foley catheters · EKG monitoring · Wound care Best personality Fit: · Able to function in a fast paced, ever-changing environment. We care for all levels of care here at TRH-med/surg to ICU. REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: · BLS Floating Area(s): · TCU Travel contracts, per diem, and resource pool available as well.
