Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a NC or compact license and intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring certification. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital setting - Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM - 13-week contract assignment - Local candidates are not eligible; must live more than 50 miles from the facility - Responsible for providing Labor & Delivery nursing care, including fetal monitoring and neonatal resuscitation - May be expected to work within a team-oriented environment - Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment /n /n Requirements/n - Active NC or compact RN license required - Minimum of 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience - Current AHA or ARC BLS certification required - Intermediate or advanced AWHONN fetal monitoring (or NCC EFM) certification required - Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required (Advanced 9th Edition) - No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months - US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration - Professional reference required (two for Florida and Missouri, one for other states) /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-667938.
