Ultrasound Tech Location: High Point, NC Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $1,944 to $2,088 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $54.00 - $58.00/Hourly. Summary: The Vascular Ultrasound Technologist performs specialized non-invasive ultrasound examinations of the vascular system to evaluate blood flow, detect vascular diseases, and support diagnosis and treatment planning. They work closely with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely vascular imaging. Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound procedures, including arterial and venous studies of the extremities, carotid, abdominal, and renal vessels. Assess blood flow, vessel patency, and detect abnormalities such as stenosis, thrombosis, or aneurysms. Operate and maintain vascular ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal image quality. Document findings, create preliminary reports, and provide images for physician interpretation.
