Job Description:

seeking a dedicated PRN LPN to join our team at the Cleveland
County Jail, NC. This role requires a dynamic nurse capable of
providing compassionate care to inmates with various healthcare
needs. The position involves working under the direction of
registered nurses and physicians, ensuring the advancement of
healthcare in the correctional environment. The ideal candidate
will be an advocate for inmate health, maintaining a safe
environment, and contributing to our mission of delivering
cost-effective healthcare services. Administer daily medications
and treatments as prescribed Monitor patient health and document
medical records Respond to medical emergencies and provide first
aid Educate inmates about health management and disease prevention
Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure compliance with federal,
state, and local standards Maintain confidentiality of all inmate
records Participate in continuing education to enhance professional
growth and maintain licensure Strong clinical skills and comfort
with a diverse range of medical issues Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a
multidisciplinary team Adaptable to the unique challenges of a
correctional environment Knowledge of HIPAA and inmate rights

401k Valid LPN license CPR/BLS certification IV certification is a
