Norman Hospital Pursue your passion for caring with Duke Health
Lake Norman Hospital in Mooresville, North Carolina. The smallest
of Duke Health’s four hospitals at 123-beds, it offers a
comprehensive range of medical services, including 24-hour
emergency care, cardiology, orthopedics, women's services, and
surgical specialties. This position offers a commitment bonus of
$15000 or higher, based on experience, if eligible. This position
offers up to $8,000 relocation assistance if eligible. Job
Description Responsible for the delivery of patient care through
the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning,
implementation and evaluation. Responsible for directing and
coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing
practices. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to
ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the
achievement of desired patient outcomes. Minimum Qualifications
Education Work requires graduation from an accredited BSN program
or associate’s degree in nursing, or a Nursing Diploma program. All
registered nurses without a bachelor’s degree in nursing ( or
higher) will be required to enroll in an appropriate program and
complete the program within seven years of their start date.
Experience One to three years previous clinical nursing experience
highly preferred. For specialty area a minimum of one year of
previous experience in that area of specialt y required. Degrees,
Licensures, Certifications Requires current American Heart
Association BLS certification. National certification in area of
speciality and Non-violent Crisis Intervention certification
