Job Description:

HCA Healthcare seeks a dedicated Transition to Practice Nurse Educator for ICU and CCU to guide and support newly graduated nurses as they transition into clinical practice. This role is pivotal in facilitating the development and competency of our next generation of critical care nurses, ensuring they deliver exemplary patient care in line with our mission to care for and improve human life. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating educational content, conducting training sessions, and evaluating progress through practical and theoretical assessments. Develop curriculum and instructional materials for transition-to-practice programs in the ICU and CCU. Conduct classroom and hands-on training sessions. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements. Assess the competencies and progress of trainees, providing feedback and additional support. Collaborate with clinical leadership to align training with current best practices and technological advancements. Strong knowledge of clinical and critical care nursing practices. Excellent teaching skills and ability to design educational programs. Ability to assess clinical skills and provide constructive feedback. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
