Job Description:
Jackson Health Professionals is actively seeking a dedicated
School Psychologist to join our educational services team, aimed at
enhancing the mental health and educational outcomes of students.
As a key member of our educational staffing division, you will
provide critical psychological services within school settings,
assess student emotional and behavioral needs, and collaborate with
educators to create supportive environments. This role requires a
proactive approach to student well-being, keen observation skills,
and a commitment to fostering an inclusive educational atmosphere.
Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to aid in
student placement and intervention strategies. Implement counseling
and intervention programs to address the needs of students with
various emotional, academic, and social challenges. Collaborate
with teachers, parents, and administrators to maximize student
academic and social potential. Develop and lead staff training on
mental health awareness and child development. Participate in
multidisciplinary teams to promote a comprehensive approach to
student health. Expertise in psychological assessment tools and
techniques Strong counseling and intervention skills Ability to
collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Excellent
communication and interpersonal abilities Knowledge of special
education processes and laws Medical Insurance 401k Valid state
licensure as a School Psychologist Nationally Certified School
Psychologist (NCSP) credential preferred
