qualifications will not be considered. Deliver advanced patient
care in an Intermediate Care (Stepdown) setting where critical
thinking and specialized nursing skills are paramount. This
contract position offers an opportunity to work with a diverse
patient population managing complex conditions such as chronic
kidney disease, congestive heart failure, respiratory failure, and
sepsis. The role requires dedication to patient safety, effective
communication, and a thorough understanding of cardiac monitoring
and multi-system care. Location: Situated in Chesterfield, VA, this

seeking a balanced lifestyle. Key Responsibilities: Perform initial
and ongoing patient assessments to formulate, implement, and
evaluate individualized care plans Administer medications and
treatments safely according to clinical protocols Serve as a
primary point of contact for interdisciplinary care coordination
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond swiftly to changes in patient
conditions Provide education and emotional support to patients and
their families Float to other Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units
as needed Maintain accurate electronic documentation using EPIC and
other clinical systems Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Current RN license valid in the state or covered by compact
licensing Minimum 2 years recent RN experience, preferably with
travel assignments Dysrhythmia exam required; BLS and ACLS
certifications mandatory Proficient in advanced cardiac rhythm
interpretation and cardiac drip management preferred Skilled in
oxygen therapy, IV insertion, NG tube management, wound care, and
medication administration Strong critical thinking, communication,
and time management abilities Comfortable working 12-hour night
shifts, including every other weekend and holiday Additional
Information: 29-bed unit with ratios generally ranging from 1:3 to
1:5, supported by PCTs and HUCs Exposure to various equipment
including telemetry monitors, wound vacs, IV pumps, and PCA pumps
Diverse patient population with complex medical needs offers
excellent clinical growth opportunities This is a contract position
suited for travel nurses located at least 50 miles from the
