experienced Travel/Contract RNs to provide exceptional care on our
MedSurg and Telemetry units. With a focus on patient-centered care
and teamwork, this role offers an exciting chance to elevate your
nursing career in a dynamic teaching hospital environment. What
You'll Do: Provide top-tier patient care in a busy Level 1 Trauma
Center, handling diverse medical conditions including diabetes, GI
issues, respiratory, renal concerns, and wound management.
Reinforce your skills in telemetry reading, chest tubes, trachs,
and PCA pump administration, all while working within a supportive
and technologically advanced setting utilizing Epic EMR, Alaris IV
pumps, and Omnicell medication dispensing. Required Skills: -
Minimum of 1-year RN experience, with travel experience preferred -
Strong knowledge of telemetry, chest tubes, and trachs - Ability to
read telemetry strips accurately - Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills - Capable of working under moderate to high
stress - Ability to collaborate effectively within
multidisciplinary teams - Valid RN licensure with current BLS,
ACLS, and NIHSS certifications Nice to Have Skills: - Prior travel
nursing experience - Experience managing complex patient cases in a
teaching hospital environment - Additional certifications like PALS
or CCRN Preferred Education and Experience: - At least 2 years of
medical-surgical/telemetry nursing experience - Experience working
in a large, academic medical center preferred Other Requirements: -
Willingness to float across MedSurg units as needed - Flexibility
to work 12-hour night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM) - Availability to work
approximately 75% of holidays and every other weekend - Valid
driver's license and current hospital or state license required
