Radiation Therapist Location: Asheville, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,360 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Radiation Therapist Profession: Rad Therapist Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8.5 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: ARRT Certifications: Required certifications in relevant fields Must-Have: Elekta linear accelerator experience Mosaiq EMR experience Description: Radiation Therapist position available. The unit operates with 4 machines, including 2 linear accelerators, 1 CT simulator, and 1 CyberKnife. There are 9 radiation therapists on staff. Day shifts are scheduled between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM, with no typical night shifts. Hourly schedules may occasionally extend beyond 6:00 PM depending on patient volumes. Patient care is prioritized with a ratio of 2.5 therapists per linear accelerator, 2 therapists per CyberKnife, and 2 per simulator. The facility utilizes Elekta Versa HD, GE Lightspeed simulator, and Accuray M6 CyberKnife equipment. The electronic medical record system in use is Mosaiq. Daily treatments include CBCT, IGRT, IMRT, and 3D on linear accelerators. Familiarity with DiBH on CRad is required for those working on Infinity 1. Candidates must possess strong communication skills, a self-starter attitude, high energy, and a positive approach to teamwork.
