Mammography Technologist Location Asheville, NC Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed. Job Description We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a women's imaging center and be mindful of patients with a history of cancer treatments. This role includes performing screening and diagnostic mammograms, ensuring high-quality imaging, and collaborating with radiologists on complex cases. Responsibilities Perform screening mammograms and diagnostic imaging procedures. Conduct specialized mammographic views such as magnification and spot compression. Engage in advanced procedures including stereotactic biopsies and pre-surgical localizations. Utilize advanced technology and equipment to ensure high standards of patient care. Maintain documentation and compliance with MQSA standards. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current ARRT Mammography certification is required. IV certification and competence in invasive and sterile procedures. Experience in mammography procedures with a focus on patient-centered care.
