Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs - Hours: 36 hrs/wk - Start Date: Feb 23, 2026 - Length: 13 weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry unit position on a night shift schedule, requiring 2 years of recent telemetry experience and an active NC or compact RN license. Details - Med/Surg Telemetry unit (A4W) in a hospital setting - Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM - 13-week contract assignment Requirements - Active NC or compact RN license required - Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start) - Current NIHSS certification required for Telemetry RNs - Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in Med/Surg Telemetry required - US SSN and date of birth required for consideration - One professional reference required (two required if from Florida or Missouri) - No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information - Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position American Traveler Job ID P-675044.
