General Anesthesiologist Job in Burlington, NC 27215

We are seeking an experienced General Anesthesiologist for a physician role beginning in November 2026 in Burlington, North Carolina. This opportunity includes a supervised anesthesia care model with cases including general, vascular, neuro, OB, GYN, urology, healthy pediatric dental, ENT, cataracts, ortho (no totals), and endoscopy. The schedule includes 5 shifts per week with 8-hour day coverage, shift times of 7a-3p, 7a-5p, and 7a-7p, and call 1-2 times per week with occasional 24-hour weekend call. • Weekly Estimated Pay: $10,996 - $12,218
• Start Date: November 2, 2026
• Assignment Length: 52 weeks
• Schedule: 5 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 8 Hour Days
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Shift Times: 7a-3p, 7a-5p, and 7a-7p
• Call: 1-2 times per week with occasional 24-hour weekend call
• Call Response Time: 30 minutes
• Documentation System: EPIC
• Case Mix: General, vascular, neuro, OB, GYN, urology, healthy pediatric dental, ENT, cataracts, ortho (no totals), and endoscopy

• Minimum 2 years of anesthesiology experience required
• Active, unrestricted North Carolina medical license required
• NC DEA required to begin privileges
• AHA-issued ACLS, PALS, and BLS required
• Experience with spinals, blocks, and epidurals required
• Case logs required
• Ability to work within a supervised anesthesia care model

• Work across a diverse range of surgical and procedural cases including general, vascular, neuro, OB, GYN, urology, healthy pediatric dental, ENT, cataracts, ortho (no totals), and endoscopy
• Spinals, blocks, and epidurals are required
• Participate in call coverage and respond within required timeframes
• Work within a supervised anesthesia care model
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC
• Float between sites as needed throughout the week
