Job Description:
A M Supply Co., a leader in the distribution of woodworking
tools and supplies, is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join
our team. This role is crucial for efficient handling and movement
of materials within our facility. The ideal candidate will be
responsible for operating forklift equipment to efficiently manage
our metal products, ensuring smooth operations in our distribution
processes. This position requires precision, safety awareness, and
the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Operate
various types of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and
count materials. Assist in the loading and unloading of materials
from vehicles and racks. Ensure proper handling and identification
of all materials and store them in appropriate locations. Conduct
checks on equipment to guarantee safety and functionality. Report
any discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns to management
immediately. Engage in inventory counting and verification.
Proficiency in operating forklift machinery and other industrial
vehicles. Strong understanding of warehouse data systems. Good
physical condition and coordination. Ability to assess weights and
judge distances and heights. Basic maintenance knowledge of
forklift and related equipment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
