Job Description:

A M Supply Co., a premier distributor of woodworking equipment and supplies, is seeking an experienced Route Driver to efficiently manage deliveries of our metal products and ensure top-quality service to our clients. As a Route Driver, you will be responsible for operating transportation vehicles with a focus on safety and customer courtesy. You will perform deliveries and pickups of materials in a timely and professional manner, adhering to all company policies and regulatory requirements. Operate company vehicles for the delivery and pickup of materials to and from designated locations in a timely manner. Maintain communication with dispatch to ensure timely pick-ups and deliveries. Ensure all necessary shipping documentation required for each route is accurate and included. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections as required and report any problems or damage. Adhere strictly to schedules and routes to optimize costs and improve efficiency. Ensure compliance with company policies, as well as safety regulations and road traffic laws. Provide excellent service to customers, reflecting the values and standards of the company. Strong ability to navigate efficiently to various locations. Proficiency in managing time effectively, with particular attention to punctuality and deadlines. Ability to maintain composure and customer focus while troubleshooting on-the-go. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
