fullest. About the role The Facilities Specialist – Sanitation &
Environmental Compliance supports the safe and compliant operation
of a cosmetics manufacturing facility that adheres to
pharmaceutical-grade standards. This role ensures that sanitation
procedures, environmental systems, and documentation meet FDA and
internal quality requirements. The technician works independently
to maintain a clean, safe, and compliant production environment.
What you'll do Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of
manufacturing equipment and facility areas in accordance with SOPs,
GMP, and FDA guidelines. Manage hose systems including cleaning,
inspection, and proper storage to prevent contamination. Monitor
and maintain water systems used in production and sanitation,
including filtration and sanitation protocols. Execute waste
management procedures, ensuring proper disposal and documentation
in compliance with environmental and regulatory standards. Conduct
facility safety inspections and report hazards or deviations from
compliance standards. Maintain accurate records of sanitation
activities, inspections, and environmental controls for audit
readiness. Assist with internal audits and inspections related to
sanitation, environmental compliance, and facility safety.
Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure facility
readiness and adherence to regulatory standards. Qualifications 1
years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (FDA,
GMP, cosmetics, or pharmaceutical) preferred. Familiarity with Good
Manufacturing Practices (GMP), FDA regulations, and sanitation
protocols. Ability to follow written procedures and maintain
accurate documentation. Strong attention to detail and ability to
work independently. Basic computer skills for logging and
reporting. Education: Minimum of a High School Diploma required;
Associate’s Degree in Environmental Science, Industrial
Maintenance, Applied Science, or a related field preferred.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform
physical tasks such as bending, standing, and climbing. Comfortable
working in environments with cleaning agents, water systems, and
production equipment. Manual dexterity for keyboard and office
equipment use. Visual ability to read screens and printed
materials. Clear communication skills in English, both verbal and
