Job Description:

Wet End Operator Job DescriptionAt Pratt Industries, we're seeking a skilled Wet End Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining our paper production equipment, ensuring high-quality output and efficient operations.Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain the single-facer and doublebacker machines, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Assist in wet-end and dry-end operations, including setup, operation, cleanup, and recommending improvements to operations.
  • Verify correct roll stock is received and used, and ensure proper size and grade of paper to be run.
  • Make splices and paper changes as necessary, ensuring minimal waste and optimal production.Requirements:
    • Experience in paper production or a related field.
    • Strong understanding of paper production processes and equipment.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
