Position Summary:
This role will lead and direct all facets of supply and demand,
including, but not limited to, demand planning, supply planning,
inventory management, and master data. In this role, you will be
responsible for managing the flow of inventory into the warehouse
network, while ensuring optimization of inventory while meeting
customer's needs. You will work hand in hand cross-functionally to
ensure Greenworks Tools has a solid and highly efficient supply
chain to support internal and external customers. This position
requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational
abilities, and a deep understanding of supply chain processes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and lead the demand and supply functions within the
organization. Create reporting and processes to support and align
with a robust PSI process that collaboratively brings together
Finance, Sales, product and Supply Chain teams.
- Create go forward rolling forecast for the purchase, planning,
warehousing and control of finished goods and accessories to
support all customers needs, from forecasting the demand/supply
plans, projected inventory balances and forecast accuracy.
- Develop and lead a robust inventory management process to
ensure Greenworks Tools is operating at the highest level of
performance based on key performance metrics and minimized supply
chain risk.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess supply
chain performance and identify areas for improvement. Implement
process enhancements and best practices to enhance operational
efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Achieve major objectives and KPI's, which will be tied to
in-stock rates, forecast accuracy and inventory targets.
- Leverage technology solutions such as supply chain management
software, inventory tracking systems, and data analytics tools to
improve visibility, efficiency, and decision-making in the supply
chain.
- Monitor and analyze supply chain costs, including procurement
costs, transportation expenses, and inventory holding costs.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency
improvement initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and
ethical standards related to imports and exports.
- Lead and develop a team of supply chain professionals,
providing guidance, coaching, and support to foster a culture of
collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Scale team based on
business scale and needs.
- Participate in existing and new product planning processes to
assure timely acquisition of materials to support product launches
and end of life activities.
- Establishes annual goals and objectives, (including stretch
targets) in coordination with corporate objectives and manages
performance to ensure attainment.
- Take initiative to proactively resolve planning and purchasing
issues that will impact sales or inventory productivity; escalate
to key stakeholders in a timely manner as warranted.
- Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION &
EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's Degree BS/BB in Supply Chain or MBA (preferred),
Operations Management, Business Management, Finance, Economics,
Math, Statistics, or related discipline.
- 10-15 years progressive experience in demand
planning/forecasting, supply chain or related analytical field
(materials management, accounting, finance, etc). Product
Management experience could be substituted for Supply Chain
experience if the depth of knowledge aligns with the needs for this
role.
- 5-10 years of direct management experience. Must be a strategic
thinker with confidence and speed in execution.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills utilizing
modeling aspects of Microsoft Excel, Access or other related
software tools.
- SAP S4 Hana and Integrated Business Planning experience
- Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic
fast-paced, changing, and demanding work environment.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and influencing
skills
