Overview: - Job Title: Assistant Nurse Manager, RN - Schedule:
7pm-7am, Full- Time, Variable Shifts - Department: - Medical
Surgical Unit - Location: Kernersville Medical Center –
Kernersville, NC We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Assistant Nurse Manager to help oversee the daily operations of a
46-bed medical-surgical unit, ensuring high-quality,
patient-centered care. This role provides leadership to nursing
staff, manages staffing and resources, supports professional
development, and drives performance improvement initiatives in a
dynamic, team-oriented environment. Qualifications: - Education: 4
Year / Bachelors Degree, required. BSN, preferred. Graduate Degree,
preferred. - Experience: - Minimum of two years of clinical RN
experience, preferred. - Prior demonstrated nursing leadership,
preferred. - Licensure/Certification: - Current RN licensure in
appropriate state, required. - NC state approved curricula for
restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of
hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units,
required. - Unit/Dept Specific Required Certifications. -
Additional Skills (required): Successful completion of generic and
department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
Ability to successfully complete Leader Education & Training.
