Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Greenville, South
Carolina, 29605! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing
Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours
per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in Medical Surgical
License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: 1 year of
EPIC experience Description: Shift: Nights, 3x12s from 19:00 -
07:30. Floating will be required as needed. Weekend coverage is
required. Medication System: Omnicell. Special procedures include:
ENT surgery (trachs, laryngectomy), Plastics (I&D, Wound VACs),
General Surgery (bowel obstructions, mastectomy, cholecystectomy,
appendectomy, gunshot wounds, overdose, hernia repair), Surgical
Oncology (pancreatitis), and Colorectal (colectomy, colostomy).
Special equipment includes Wound VAC, PCA, PICC Lines, drains, and
ostomy management. Successful candidates will be floating to units
they are qualified for and performing tasks for which competencies
have already been documented. Staff members will only float as per
the needs of the organization. Clinical support will come from
various interdisciplinary services including IV Teams, Physical
Therapy, Respiratory Services, Social Services, and Pharmacy.
Patient age groups consist of adults and geriatrics, with a daily
census of approximately 32 patients. The unit accommodates up to 32
beds. Staff-patient ratio is typically 5:1. Responsibilities
include managing various medical conditions and administering
treatments as required. Candidates must have experience with wound
care, IV maintenance, oxygen administration, and isolation
precautions. This position requires proficiency in care management
for colostomy, feeding tubes, and blood product administration.
Travelers should be aware of conversion policies following
consecutive contracts. Modules and training are required prior to
the start of the assignment, and reimbursement is available for
completion time. Communication with the account manager is
necessary if there are any concerns. The organization values its
